Fill up is a widely used term in poker. It means to complete a full house. Full house in poker is 3 cards of one rank and 2 cards of another rank. For example, a queen of hearts, a queen of clubs, a queen of spades and an Ace of hearts, an Ace of spades.

Full house is the 4th best possible poker hands which can happen in the game. The best poker hand is royal flush (Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, all the same suit, for example, all 5 cards of hearts suit).
The second highest combination is a straight flush – 5 cards in a sequence, all cards have to be of the same suit. For example, nine, eight, seven, six and five – all of spades.
The third highest poker hand is four of a kind – when 4 out of 5 cards belong to the same rank. For example, 4 queens. The 5th card can be any.
Lower in poker hands ranks (below the fill up and full house) are: flush, straight, three of a kind, two pair, pair and high card. In total, there are 10 rankings.
